Dealing With A Threat
I'm sure the folks in Idaho have seen this before unless they didn't release the video until after sentencing this fool. Sure looks like crappy doors in this apartment, but I'm wondering what kind of pea shooter puts 3 in the chest and the guy survives?
https://ca.news.yahoo.com/blogs/dail...175737840.html Here in Canada they would haul the victims away & charge them with assault with a weapon.

That is a cheap hollow core door.
If I lived in an apartment like that I would have a bigger handgun.

Three rounds to the chest at close range and the guy lived?????????? Must have been a bad shot using a .22 with solid nose bullets.

Hollow points, that would have stopped him.

Its all about stopping power. Only a few cartridges are rated with any true stopping power. Best own the ones that do.

Why do Canadians put up with that? From what I've seen on this forum, the Canadians here disagree with that, yet it's like that.

Probably for the same reason that American's, and British, put up with mass immigration, and thieving banker's stealing their home's, just to mention 2 thing's, so far they do'nt have a political party to vote for that will do anything about it.

But here we do have a party and PACs that will stand up for gun rights and fight for them, successfully. I bet that Canada has an equal percentage of citizens that are pro gun, but it doesn't seem to translate into liberal gun laws, and I use the term correctly. I am just wondering why. As far as thieving bankers and immigration, both major parties benefit, so nothing will be done. What most people don't get is that the democrats and republicans belong to the political class and will operate in their best interests every time. The gun issue works out for us because it's not a threat to bankers and other big money donors. Everything else is for the benefit of what really is fascism light, which is the relationship between business and government. We don't have free market or capitalism in this country. We haven't for a very, very long time.

It depends on allot of things. Being too close can be a problem as the bullets pass through and fail to deliver the full impact energy. P+ rounds have the same shortcoming at close range. Maybe he was using FMJ target rounds. It's just not that uncommon for close range shots to pass through. Nonetheless it took three rounds at close range to bring him down. My guess is that the shooter had at least three more available if needed.

head shots work well regardless of ammo type.most homeowners would be better served with a 12 gauge shotgun for home defense..my own home is well equipped with an ar-15,
two 1911 .45's,a .38 special,a 9m/m and two tactical 12 gauge shotguns.then of course there is a nice selection of hunting rifles and shotguns also.
