Because I have spoken openly on our web site here, about the health of my parents etc and what's been going on in my life,... getting both parents to the coast where they were better off and getting their needs met,... I say with a heavy heart that my Dad passed away peacefully yesterday. I'm off to Victoria today to be with my Mom and sister for a day or so. No service,...simple cremation with his remains to be scattered here in the Walker Valley on the 108 Ranch, in the spring,..where he loved to snowmobile every winter. It's hard to believe that it was just a yr. ago that the 2 of us were out on the sleds together. So grateful for that !!

Thanks for sharing this Rick. I believe you posted pictures of you and your Dad snowmobiling. It's too bad we have to face this inevitability, but my bet is one day God's going to show us why things are like this and it's going to more spectacular than we're able to comprehend right now.
I have the same wishes for my remains and like them spread around my property and near the places I laid my beloved pups. God bless all of you and may he Rest in Peace, Rick.
