It's always sad to hear about someone taking out the entire family including the children.

I'm not looking for an arguement but don't understand the caveman thing. I looked it up on line and came up with this. I'm not sure what it has to do with someone killing an entire family.

Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels centers on the mystery-solving adventures of the Teen Angels—Brenda, Dee Dee and Taffy—and their friend Captain Caveman (or Cavey for short), a prehistoric caveman whom the girls discovered and thawed from a block of ice. The concept and general plot for the show was seen as a parody of Charlie's Angels (which also aired on ABC). It also borrowed heavily from other Hanna-Barbera shows such as Scooby-Doo and Josie and the Pussycats, among others. Captain Caveman was also on the "Scooby Doobies" team on Laff-a-Lympics.

Captain Caveman's powers include super-strength, a variety of useful objects hidden inside his fur, and a club that allows him to fly and from which pops out different tools he uses to fight crime. His trademark is his battle cry of "Captain CAAAAAVEMAAAAAAANNNN!" Captain Caveman's voice was provided by Mel Blanc.

Try this link... interesting to say the least and very divisive. Read as many of the comments as you can stand. Some people have the ability to put their thoughts in words and sentences, others... not so much. BTW this is a British response but the point is the same.

The police report says Joshua Boren was sexually abused as a child, struggled with drug addiction as a young man and pornography addiction throughout his life, and had a deep-rooted hatred for his mother.

After his father committed suicide when he was 5, Joshua Boren's mother began using drugs and seeing several men, the report states. One of those men allegedly abused Joshua Boren, and he blamed his mother for not protecting him, his sister told police.

Why do police forces hire assholes like this?

Poor Macmac... so angry at the world that he has to go and seek out problems to come on here and complain about. He also blocks kawboysix and I because he doesn't have the intelligence to debate on level ground.

He would rather slander an entire profession and make up ridiculous stories to justify his hatred of law enforcement. He starts this thread to get a response from us, but he will never see it because we are blocked. Not sure how that forwards his mission, but whatever. I guess he assumes that I am just stewing and angry at him. I'm not. I know behind all that anonymous bluster and bravado he is just a scared and confused man.

That is a VERY good question. The police hiring process for his department needs to be evaluated. Washington DC needed to hire 1500 officers in 1989 and 1990 because poor management led to a huge shortfall of officers. In the rush to fill positions, they hired a lot of dirtbags. The overwhelming majority of problem officers in the Metropolitan Police Department are from those 2 years.

We know the Human Resource department didn't do their job. I was always under the impression that when you become a cop you have to go through an extensive background check as well as a psych evaluation.

I do a caveman thing, but I can't fly, or do anything a real cave man can't do, or have done. I do it with just things a cave man could have had. I can start a real first fire with 2 sticks. I can make cordage from bark and grasses. I can make and use real stone tools not just points.

I could live that way if not for false notions of ownership taxes money and assorted other man made BS. The insanity gets deeper and deeper as man kind gets more so called sophisticated. No one owns anything anymore, anymore than they have money. Both are false notions.

If you ever stop paying taxes and fees on what you think you own sooner than later someone will come calling and take it from you for free.

There has been no money since 1957. The last of any was in 1964 as pocket change. We the People are not to be trusted with money.

I find it odd that shooting in self defense is bad, but shooting bad guys over money by cops isn't bad.

Same thing for a road hit moose. If I shoot it because it's down and hurt bad, that's bad, but when the cops come and try to shoot it that's good. The cops that shot the last one i was there for missed it from point blank, and used 2 9mm's and a 12 ga shot gun. I was stunned to see what poor marks men they were missing in fact completely missing.

What is most amusing is we all start off life pissing in our pants and then think later we are so sophisticated, and yet a little later resume pissing in our pants again.

And last for now any time a cop is pissing on my back and telling me it's rain I just envision that jerk sitting on the pot in his own stink. That takes the fear of the officer right out of me.

Dead last after the MURDERS I learned there is nothing to fear in DEATH. Once you master that there is nothing anyone else can do to you.

Bitter your'e damned right i am bitter.

Ahh the famous classes raise their heads again . . . The main thing in this, or any senseless tragedy is that ALL professions hire human beings. Cops, firefighters, military, doctors, lawyers, clergy, pilots, mechanics, garbage men, plumbers, rocket scientists - We all are flawed in some way. Yes it is a great tragedy when someone sworn to protect and serve violates the public trust and commits senseless acts like this. Macmac's reaction, while understandable, is also flawed, but that's OK because he too is human. I am a Veteran in order for him to voice his different opinion without fear.

I also carry a badge and have been in Law Enforcment for over 25 years. The Thin Blue Line? Most people focus on the Blue part of this - the operative part that people should focus on however, is Thin. It is thin because there are relatively few of us sworn to protect and serve the masses. People and incidents like this only make the line thinner, tarnish all of our badges and make it harder for those of us who still idealistically feel we can do some good in our communities to uphold these ideologies . . .

I'm sure the guy didn't put all that stuff on his application, and patient confidentiality laws sometimes block us from getting a lot of it during a back ground investigation. (Though with the DC classes all they had to do was run NCIC on them to see their felony convictions).

My heart goes out to all affected by this senseless tragedy . . . Words can not express the outrage I feel, but my outrage is directed at one human, not an entire profession . . .

I heard 2 local cops bragging to another about arresting a drunk priest and refusing to give him water to drink that evidently he begged for. The priest wanting water to the point he drank it from the cell toilet. Now that's the kind of cops i want to help me. Screw these COPS

This is why at Weirs Bch over bike week we lock our lids. My wife and i witnessed 2 cops one male and one female STEAL Lids there after discussing it.

My wife called a bit later to the Laconia PD and she was told we didn't see it happen. Cute.

The killer is NH is a lid free state for those 18 and over. so cops stealing lids from people who want to wear them is CRIMINAL.

We do go through the psych eval and background checks. The question is, we don't know what the departments standards are for scoring individuals on these tests. I have wondered the same as you on many occasions. My department has had to terminate 1 new hire each year for the last 4 years. So yes we do WEED them out as was suggested before. Question is how were they allowed to join us in the first place? Possibly they started out on the up and up and something happens along the line that they change for the worst. After all they are humans with human emotions that can change with time and life experiences just like you, me or anyone else.

Not lookin for a pissin match so I will say my say and back out of here.
I know Mac personally and yes he is angry at law enforcement for what happened to his in laws and that is not a made up story.
I don't think much if anything scares him and yes he is unique in his thinking and conversational skills but confused, I don't think so.
