Question Camper Trailer ideas ?

I have a harbor freight trailer and have a sears car top carrier on it but i want to make it something 2 could sleep in instead. I am interested in designs ideas, and light weight const materials etc....

It could fold on to the std deck and be tent like or it could be rigid. I think a key thing is it needs to be as light as possible. The deck by guesstimate is something like 48" long and 43" wide.

For all the trouble and expence it would be to build one, I'd shop either craigslist or Ebay Mac.

Just a suggestion.

I'magonna git you fer that. I know where you live! One fine morning you will wake up to gun fire out on the lawn. it will be having target practice on all yer neighbors lawn ornaments sittin in my campah' trailer on the green grass

When you come out to investigate i will have the coffee on. I assume you like Baily's.

You can ask anybody, I never turn down nothin' free, except something that might kill or maim me, (ie). a terrible ass wuppin. Unprotected, unexpected, unsolicited, coitus is considered for 3 seconds and decisions are pending. Launch code may have been entered, and perimeters compromised, and then it's outa my hands

Now how am I gonna hear rain on a tin roof if it's nylon or even canvass? I will wanna go to bed, not work. The whole point of a campa is goin' ta; bed now working, err well maybe just a little working

I have a sumah tent for back packing, a wintah' tent for back packin, a lodge tent for pre 1840 you can have a fire anywhere in th centah' line. Come ta think if it i could bring that to Kawaheads lawn and cook his chicken

Yeah, i hear ya. Me and the Wife gave up camping after about 14 years because it became more work than fun.
My only other thought is you bolt the dog house down to the trailer bed and call it a done deal. Of course the dog might have sumpin' ta say about that!

Now I like that idea, but can it be done light weight enough and have a porch and rocker? I was kinda considerin a 3 piece old used roofin metal quonset hut in camo and some how make it in stealth mode so COPS wouldn't think a body would fit. 2 bodies really. The lighter and the for freer the better. This is about me, not so much my wife. She goes where I go and that's all there is to it. With that said she is my soul mate and my goal is to have her happy.

The eye sore part could be handy when i visit Kawahead. it would be fun to over hear his neighbors talking. I could lie and say i was related to Chevy Chase's wifes cousin. That one with the radio active Govt Land.
