I can't believe this got zero responses - did nobody see it? 'cuz I'm sure some are going. I just made the commitment last night, reserving a room for a single night (Sat the 21st). So far one other bike will be coming from the Cape that I know of, we'll be riding together past Quincy if you wanted to fall in.

You know I'm riding up with you guys. I asked my wife to take the day off. Normally she works on Saturdays. She asked me if I wanted to rent a room up there. Told her I would pass. She said maybe you'll meet someone new up there. Funny girl.

If anyone else is interested in going up for the day. I'll be coming back at the end of the day. Go up. Walk around. Have some lunch. Check out the biker build off, and come home.

There's a biker build off? You know all the cool stuff Neil. It'll be great to have you in the pack, and once we arrive, since it's my first time I hope to be shown the ropes. I am glad to be going later near the end as I hear it can be brutally congested the first few days.

Laconia Bike Week is more of a rough and tumble, show me your tits biker type of rally.
Americade is a more family oriented rally.
They are close to the same time, it would be possible to attend both but if it was one or the other I would go to Americade.
I'm not big on showing my tits to strangers

You picked the right day to go up. The biker build off finishes on Saturday afternoon.

Yeah, what days are you guys going to be there?

Laconia isn't what it once was, there are few places where any flashing goes on.
Town ordinances have steep fines and plenty of undercover police around. There
is a fine for the lady showing her breast and a fine for the gents asking them to show
them. It has turned into regular people trying to have a good time, from bikers out
to have a great time. It really isn't much different from Americade these days. IMO

I've heard from MacMac and it looks like we'll get to meet up with him on his home turf, that should be interesting. I was in Laconia for the first time by car a couple weeks ago and it is gorgeous country....can't wait to do those roads on 2 wheels.
