Grin Gremlin bell

When I was pulling the motor from the donor bike I found a nice gremlin bell wedged between the motor and frame. My question is, would it be safe to put on the nomad because it was on a wrecked bike that I bought?

I'm not real sure, but if it was me I'd probably use it. I think the only stipulation is that you don't buy it for yourself, its supposed to be given to you.

If you pick up a GuardianĀ® Bell of your own, the magic will work, but if your bell is given to you, the power is doubled, and you know that somewhere you have a special friend helping to look after you.
So, if you have a friend who doesn’t have a bell, why not give them one? It’s a nice feeling for the recipient to know you care. The bell, plus a good preventive maintenance program by the bikes owner, will help eliminate Evil Road Spirits.
Bottom line: I'd save the bell and give it to a friend when he/she buys a new bike

OK. First I do not believe in superstition but for those of you who do; The bell came off a bike that was wrecked!!! For those who are superstitious, do you think that MIGHT be a bad sign???

If it was on a bike that was wrecked, then the bell did not work, unless the rider walked away from the wreck, in which case you could say it did it's job and is worth keeping.

What if you get a guardian bell for someone an have it blessed, does that increase it's power?

If you want to be blessed, join a congregation of folks that gather in God's House and
start believeing in God. That works better than a bell.

I'm superstitious and no way in hell would I put a bell from a wrecked bike on my bike.
Even if you figure it worked by the rider not getting killed I would think that it has used up it's power.
I also think if you are a religious person then have the bell blessed. What can it hurt

I had two bells on my bike when I wrecked a few years ago...

I walked-away basically unscathed; but you would think the bells would have worked better than that...

Oh... by the way... both are still on the bike. What the heck...

Sorry guys but the talk of gremlin bells reminds me of the tooth fairy, leprechauns and Santa Claus.

If it makes you feel safer having a bell on your bike, all the power to you.

I look at the Gremlin bell kind of like looking at the wife. I believe I would rather have her on my side than sitting across from me in family court.

If I purchased a bike that had been wrecked and the past owner walked away then the bell stays as a proven fact.

It is not all superstition, but spirit of the sport.

Was that just aimed at TC? That's the way I do it.

I left my bell on my wrecked bike, 'cause I was too wrecked to get it. I would say keep it. I never thought about it but I'd never wish the finder bad luck, or anybody. Doing that will bring bad luck on you superstitious or not.

You saying Santa Claus and the Tooth fairy aren't real?, well thanks for wrecking it for the rest of us.
