That's funny I thought it was going to be some Bikini clad, hot, girl.
Now nothing to be ashamed of here, you may match the first description and that's your business, but no frigging way you match the last two.

Oh yeah, cool poster Elvis.

origin of the poster

The poster is from the Minnesota Motorcycle Safety Center, which is paid for by a extra fee on our drivers license renewals. There is also a TV ad to go with it.
These are the folks that are behind the "Start Seeing Motorcycles" bumper stickers as well. They also do the motorcycle driver training classes in MN.
The MMSC did a study of fatal crashes, and determined that aprox 60% were ONE vehicle accidents. (Can't blame the car.) Most also involved alcohol too. Thus, the focus of the ad campaign. I like the humor, even though the message is serious.

There's a motorcycle museum in Sturgis, SD. That's where I took the photo of that poster. Good to know where it originated.

Never. I don't ride my bike or fly my plane after alcohol. Have driven my car, though. I don't know why the double standard. Maybe because I have more time behind the wheel then on my bike or in the air?

I haven't drank alcohol in 30 years.
Back when I was young and bullet proof I am ashamed to admit I drove and rode after drinking.
Rode my motorcycle to play in a softball game once. It was a twisty curvy road to get there. On the way I rode 45 mph and thought that was fast enough.
On the way home after celebrating at the bar I looked at the speedometer and was doing 80.
Sometimes we look back and wonder how we survived.
Now I won't even ride with guys who drink while riding.

Never touch a drop when I ride or drive. At the end of the day I'll have a few though.
