What are your thought on these risers for my 2004 1500Nomad?

They didn't fit my bars well so I tried to over-tighten them to pull them into place - the alloy was far too soft for that sort of treatment and one of the threads began to strip... I got all that sorted and got them mounted properly... and then found that they shook badly. The bottom surface where they mount to the triple-tree is nowhere near flat, and a big V-twin makes them shake till your forearms ache. It was extremely hard to prevent them from touching the speedo nacelle as well (though the 3.5" model might be better), and the triple-tree required drilling out to suit the very large bolts they use (not supplied). However the height just about perfect. So I picked up a set of Phat II's from a member here (Thanks Dave - "DR1600"), and am now entirely happy. For that lesser lift... I think I'd personally stick to the tried and true stock-riser extensions made by Chuckster?

Well enjoy your weekend! One more day of work for us here.I will be going to Chile with my wife a week from tomorrow so yeah I am looking forward to tapping into that warmth you are enjoying!
