Voyager rear speakers?

I was looking at pics of the new ('09+) Voyagers and didn't notice any rear speakers. Not that I have one (or plan to buy one), but Kaw would do well to add some speaker pods in the same place the HDs have them. Can you guys w/ loud pipes hear the stereo well? Just curious.

Thanks. I guess I should have dug into the Kaw site a bit more. Dunno how I missed those.

I had the optional OEM rear speakers on my 2010 Voyager. I took them off because they were digging into my wifes legs. In my opinion they are a waste of money as your passengers legs completely obscure any sound from them. Took them off and dont notice any difference.

I installed the factory speakers on my 2010 VV. I have to say I think it really improves to sound. When riding solo I feel I'm surrounded by the sound, not just coming from the front. When riding 2 up my better half says she can hear them and is better able to enjoy the music. For me it was worth the expense and I think they look good as welk.

With a full face helmet I could never hear anything from the rear speakers.

I put the speaker kit on my 2010 and it made a big difference. Don't have to run as much volume at highway speeds.

I rarely have to go over #10 on the volume control, even with a full face helmet.
