sheep skin or beads???

It is hot out here in AZ.
What works best on the seat? Beads or Sheep skin? Which is most comfortable?

Where is best place to get either? Or is there something else that works better?

thanks,

I tried both on my Nomad. Didn't make a big enough difference for me to recommend either. Neither one is a substitute for a decent seat, in my opinion.

Yes, that's where I got my sheepskin from. The beaded cover I got from beadrider.com.

Like Scott I've done both. the beads help a little but don't extend the distant you can ride on it.

thanks. Just looking for some heat relief. The mustang seat is comfortable, but gets a little sweaty in this AZ heat...

This bead looks like a sheep. Make a seat cover out of these and have the best of both worlds!!

I just received my front seat and backrest sheepskin seat cover from Alaska Leather and I really llike it.

I have an Airhawk II under the sheepskin and man is it comfortable.

I'm in Tucson and I understand the wet butt syndrome...after riding, it feels like you didn't make that last bathroom break.

I'm going to order the backseat and passenger backrest next week.

I think Alaska Leather has the best price when you factor in shipping.

If you wear LD Comfort under your riding pants (jeans or riding pants), they wick moisture away much better than UA or similar stuff. LD Comfort shorts are dual layer. I've worn them under my heavy riding pants and mesh pants, helps with the pain and moisture issues. YMMV

I've used sheepskin for years to cool my butt on long rides. I got my last one at Costco

I had a sheep skin cover custom made for my Nomad. It makes a world of difference, I was suprised at how cool and dry I stay.

We will be getting one for the wifes spider as soon as we can. My cover was made from a conplete sheep skin, cut and sown to fit my seat.
