Question Loafer Has A Confession

Most of you know that wompus has decided to not post for a while.

He had a operation on his neck several weeks ago, and has been in a lot of pain from the
operation and from some stiffness in the neck area near where they operated. He has
a brace and a neat new biker scar healing on his neck.

To my confession:

He has sent me numerous e-mails over the past year. I decided to find out how offensive they
are, so this past week I have posted them along with a couple of my own. I have seen no
adverse reaction to any of them. Maybe because I posted them or because they
weren't deemed offensive. I don't know.

*I'm wondering if Mike had posted them, would he have received a free
pass on them like I seem to have?

**Do his post have to jump a higher bar then the rest of us?

***Should he recieve the same considerations as the rest of us?

That's my 'confession', you will have to go and check out the post for yourselves if you
wish to know which were his and which were mine. I bet you can't tell.

Just Saying...

Was wondering what happened to him.
Hope he heals up quick , he's gonna miss a great riding season the way its looking.
Not sure about the why's but personally did not have any problems with the posts I did see. I know it got heated over opinions on Whitney Houston but sort of took that one as opinions heating the topic up just like some of the Obama done it posts.

Hop back in the pool, the water is fine....

Sorry to hear about Wompus's heath issues, Mike I wish you a speedy recovery.
Gerry I don't think it always has so much to do with the post, but the reaction of the poster to comments made about the post.
Also a bit of variation in the type or style of post makes a difference, and you have just proved that with your admission of mixing in some of Mikes with yours.

Good luck mike!

Gerry I looked at your posts and I didn't see any content like "food stamps under their work boots" jokes or "bus going over a cliff"... maybe I only read just a few.

I hope Mike is ok as well. I didn't mind most of his stuff, but he did like to push the issue at times.

To be honest with you Gerry I was getting a little annoyed with all the crap you were posting.
Everytime I clicked on the new posts section it was filled with entries from the joke section. I really thought wompass was back.
For the record, and I know no one cares about my opinion, I do not miss him being here at all.

I agree that he gets hot when he sees someone take great offense to one of his post. And then I think he goes out of his way to be offensive as a come back. He usually is laughing I'm sure while he does it, meanwhile the other party takes it a step further, and so on.......

I did mix them up, and as you can see they aren't that bad. Only a few of the e-mails he sent to me, I deemed weren't appropriate for this site. They are not here, his judgement may need to be fine tuned to THIS site.

He has sent me some great e-mails, that many of you would have enjoyed. Maybe when he returns, in the future he will share them.
Over all I think he's an Ok guy who likes to have a good time. I believe that he has been misunderstood because of his style.
We all could use a second chance at a lot of things throughout our lives,
I vote to give him a welcome to return message. JMHO

I wish you would have said something, before now.
Did you not say anything because it was me that did the posting?
Would you have said something if it were Mike?
We all have a right to our opinions, and sharing them can help those who don't know, or
haven't looked at it from your point of view.
I've seen some stuff that I don't care for, and have left the page. I didn't feel it was
necessary to comment that I didn't like it. Sometimes we should say something
and sometimes we should just move on. JMHO

That's because most of the stuff Mike sends is just that, Ok stuff. His point of view is
different in my opinion.
Only Mike can answer or should answer to some of the questions he raises.
I have only known him for a short time period. What I think may be different than other people.
