Red Turn signal lens for 1700 Nomad?

Does anyone know where I can find red lenses for my rear turn signals? I cant seem to locate any. Are there any out there that would fit, but not necessarily from Kawasaki?

Thanks much!

Does the 1700 Nomad use the same signal lenses as the Vaquero? If so, this entire piece would need replaced. With a basket full of wishes, I wouldn't hold my breath that someone has manufactured this yet. I've devoted my efforts to removing the stock signals. Otherwise, this monstrosity also makes it pretty difficult to convert to a quality LED board (which of course you'd still have to make yourself). I've seen tail lights heated in an oven to loosen the glue between pieces, but I'm not sure I want to go to those lengths.
Still, regarding changing colors, I've also seen some Clear-Red spray paints used in this type application.

You could also try red bulbs.
To paint the inside go to a hobby shop and get transparent red paint.
Works good.

Thank you everyone. It looks like my best course of action would be to:

1. Heat the lens to remove, and

2. Paint the inside of the lens.

Any suggestions on re-gluing? ("super glue," modeling glue, etc?)

Painting the inside, Make sure your paint can take the heat of the bulbs. If it's just turn signals, the heat is intermittent, and may be okay. If you're doing a run/brake/turn mod, I'd look into it with slightly more caution, but may still be okay ???

Regarding glue, just make sure it's a glue or epoxy for plastics, water safe, and get it sealed up water-tight.

mine are not painted. i also installed some super bright red led's from custom dynamics. i also installed a run/brake/turn module. it is mounted under my seat. the led's require a little dremel work to fit chrome housing. its not had it just takes a little patience. my lenses are for a harley and fit the chrome turn signal housing in diameter pretty well. as we all know though they are not held on with screws so here is where it gets to be a problem. i used clear silicone caulk to attach the lenses to the chrome housing. the main reason i used caulk was to prevent water from getting into the housing to the led's. now once that was done there is a small gap between the lens and housing that must be sealed. keep in mind i was using harley lenses on metric signal housings. what i did to counter this was to use blue painters tape on the lens and housing and then again applied black silicone caulk. this gives the illusion of a approx. 1/8th inch thick o-ring between the housing and lens. i smoothed the caulk with my finger while it was still wet and removed the tape as well while it was still wet. the tape created a nice clean sharp lines giving the o-ring look. so it is attached with clear silicone and then sealed again with black silicone . absolutely 100% waterproof. i know it sounds really complicated but its not. if anyone is going to do their signals pls feel free to give me a call @ 803-266-2116 after 5pm eastern. i am a bike enthusiastist and will be glad to help in any way i can.

So, Bob, the Replacement Signal Lenses were a good fit on the stock turn signals?
