You guys need to relize, yeah my friends were in the wrong but seriously? they did not deserve to get shot. there only teenagers, my bestfriend is laying in the hospital .................................................. ..............

I liked some of the responses. Especially the one that one of the teenagers is in the hospital and says the guy needed more range time. Hahahaha

The next thing you will know we'll hear how good those boys were and how no one can understand why they did this. We'll here how they were such nice church going people and worked as community organizers. Then we'll here why couldn't the old man shoot them in the arm or in the air to scare them away. Just wait...

The only time I will shoot in the air is if an assailant is jumping over me.

Good for him. It always warms my heart when I read stories like this. All criminals deserve to receive the same reward as they did. I would have done the same thing he did but I would have tried to get all three.

OK, here it is from the other side. I was an intentional outlaw from a very early age (family tradition). We always knew and accepted that our "targets" might not volunteer to be victims and fight back. That means injury, prison, or death. Just like a gambler, it's the risk you take for the prize you want.

Now I'm older, law abiding, and I still remember. If those who ARE like I WAS cross paths with me, there will definitely by a fight.

p.s. I don't hesitate.

If you fire a warning shot you must not have been afraid for your life, therefore you are under arrest for, at the least, felony menacing. SHOOT TO KILL!

I heard a "story" (true or not?) of a woman in front of a judge for a shooting.

Judge: Why did you shoot the man 6 times?
Woman: Well, I pulled the trigger 10 times, but only 6 bullets came out.
Judge: Case dismissed.

Wonder what they would have done had he not been licensed to carry a weapon.... probably he would be dead because he didnt have protection... or in jail for carrying if he had one.

Confusing situation....Sounds like you have to get a permit to protect yourself today.
I guess they should start calling them Get out of being a victim licenses.

This underscores the idea that anything that requires permission isn't a right.
