What's your planned winter project(s) for your bike?

Just curious what everyone has planned to do to their bike over the winter..well those of who have a winter where we can't ride.

As for myself I plan on :

cam chain extenders, 27,000 miles and got the clatter
clutch spring since I've started getting a little slip in 5th gear
double darkside, a GYTT and a D404 reversed in the front.

I've been a bit distracted with the work on the house and pool. Work on the bike will be ride, ride, ride, all winter long.

Where do I start? :) Chucksters intake, fuel processor, misc chrome, bag chaps, a few things that start with the letter "Kuryakyn", coasters, 1700 Nomad handlebars and I'll start trying to figure out the RG fairing. This should keep me busy until spring. The party keeps going until I run out of money. :)

CJ, just noticed your "down by the river". You could have bought a house for what you paid for "Barney" in our area. . .

3 new brake rotors / pads / Stainless lines for brakes and clutch - maybe a RG fairing if I can find one. Send out batwing fairing for repair and repaint - big bad Hail storm last year pounded the crap outa the one side!

Yeah, but my wife and I both work in the East Valley, and our sons and their families live over here too. Not looking for a longer commute.

I'm going to get a book that tells me how to work on my bike then tear it apart.
Put in A new steering head bearing, grease the swing arm, replace the u-joints in the drive line and grease everything in there. Install new wheel bearings front and rear, new brake pads, tear the engine down and have it bored out, the list just goes on and on. NOT

I thought a couple trips to Death Valley, Route 66 East & West and maybe explore some of the more desolate roads surrounding Lake Mead to name a few.

Not much. It's just to danged hot for me. Been living here in Arizona for 27 years and still not acclimated. I'm o.k. to around 90 degrees. After that it's boats and jetskis.
