wanted - rear rim, nomad 1500

as the title says: wanted rear rim, nomad 1500

I have to take my bike in to let them hunt down the source of my wobble. With the CT on the back, I know that's the first thing they are going to blame and they may refuse to work on it till that is changed (refuse to road test).

it's common enough around here....

so, I've still got the old rubber, with a bit of wear left on it. I just need a new rim thta I can swap out...

can anyone help me out?

Thanks
Brian

What if the problem really is in the rim/tire? Not that a CT will give you a wobble but any tire could, I suppose. Have you checked the air pressure in the CT?

The car tire could have a blemish, take it off and get it checked out.

I know the Kawasaki dealer in Mesa refuses to service a bike with a car tire on it "for liability reasons". I think I'd mount the motorcycle tire on the rim you have and see if the problem goes away, It very easily could be a bad car tire.

Maybe I missed some earlier post, but I assume you have first checked/replaced the steering head bearings? P.S. I'm a Darksider on my Valkyrie, but not my Nomad so can't really offer any thing there.

Or find an independant MC shop that WILL work on your bike.
