That's a sharp-looking bike, Jim. Even if it isn't a Harley!

Aw crap. Why oh why did I have to look at this? I'm fighting swapping my Nomad on one myself.

Nice bike and mods. Can you give us some details on the seat and drivers backrest?

Ok, here's a few details about the mods....

The air kit and left side filler plate is from Thunder Manufacturing here in Phoenix. Great group of folks, and very knowledgeable about Vulcans. You can check out their website at www.thundermfg.com

The seat is the Kawasaki gel tour seat. I like it, and more important, so does the wife, and until something much better comes along, it's a keeper.

The backrest is from Lonnie at Grasshopper Limited. There was no option for a drivers backrest from anyone. I contacted Lonnie, sent him my seat, and he designed a bracket to accommodate his backrest. It took a little time, but he never gave up and it works perfect. Fits right in the factory seat slot. Now I can ride for hours without my back killing me. Check out his website at www.grasshopperlimited.com

If anyone has other questions, just let me know...

I'm curious about the intercom set up...what is it and where did you buy it?

The intercom system is from Kawasaki. It's a two piece system really...you can purchase just the drivers headset hookup or both driver and passenger. Both of them are simple plug & play. You will need to purchase helmet headsets (I use J&M). I usually use the headsets on the highway as its much easier to hear the music. The intercom is VOX activated and works flawlessly.

Want to add my compliments as well. Very sharp.

Too bad you haven't located an air-conditioning mod, though, hunh?
