My wife says I'm full of hot air and don't need the pump. You haven't been talking to her, have you? Actually, I'm lucky I haven't torn anything up already with an air compressor ... turning it on for just a second and turning it back off quickly. Having an outrigger style trike kit, I have to pay closer attention to the pressure in the shocks to get a good ride. I've been wanting to get a decent pump but haven't had time ... until I saw this post.
