First ride

March 18Th and it is 50 degrees F. Puddles to dodge on some streets from the melting snow still piled on lawns, but I got out for a first ride today. Hard to really call it a ride I guess, 7 km around the neighborhood, however it still beats just tinkering and looking at the bike in the garage.

Knock the rust off, and try the new back rest out. I think with some highway pegs it will be like driving my lazy-boy down the highway.

I spent the day working on my rack to mount my trunk. Still have a fair size list of things to do to my bike before I get out.

Im hoping I can get out for at least a quick ride around town either this afternoon or tomorrow. I have a few wiring connections to make, install the fairing, check everything out and clean it up. I should be able to start riding to work later this week if its dry enough.
