Jim, you need to start checking with me before you schedule one of these. Every one has been when I already have a ride scheduled somewhere else. :)

Jim, I don't think you can schedule a weekend that Gene doesn't already have a ride scheduled. How far out would that schedule have to be? Gene is on the road all the time, like the rest of us want to be! ;)

No, but I'm leaving in the morning for 5 days up around Harrison, Arkansas.
So far I don't have anything set for October. I'm watching the Natchez Trace planning though.

Just got back from Jim's and I have to say, I love my new pipes. Those Jardine Rumblers might be the best pipes I've heard. (Might be a little biased here). Jim said they were the easiest pipes he had ever installed. They look great on the bike. They are quiet when I want them to be and they wake up when I want them to. Want to thank Jim for helping me install them. Can't wait for everyone to hear them in Antlers. And after we installed the TFI and air cleaner my mpgs were knocked down from lower 40's to lower 30's and I wasn't too happy with that. After we put these pipes on today I couldn't be happier because my gas mileage is at least as high as it was before the mods, maybe a little higher. And burning regular gas with no pinging at all is nice also. Always said I would never get aftermarket pipes but I really needed these. They are loud but not obnoxiously loud. I said the grasshopper backrest was the best $100 I've spent so far for the Nomad. Now this is probably the best $220 (plus $30 shipping) I've spent on it. I've also got a good bit more ooooomph in my bike. Jamie

The Jardine pipes look great fit perfect I think the chrome is better than the V&H baggers and I like the sound better at idle they are very quiet and a cruising speed they are quiet but when you open the throttle they sound great and the fit was great. I know Jamie likes them. I have a stock set of pipes complete laying around I will sell cheap make me an offer they are off an 08 nomad
