Jardine Exhaust
I had a Jardine 4 into 1 on my 750 Honda back in the golden years. It was the only thing that made the bike run without missing other than extremely cold temps. I rejetted that bike over and over and could never get it right until the Jardine. It was quality then, but I can't speak for them now.

Have them on my 81 xs 850, but I wasn't aware they are available for Nomads.

Rumblers were a slip-on muffler, and I can't find them on Jardine's website. They must have discontinued them.

Jardine Exhaust
Zoom 45 found some on e-bay. They look Ok. I just looked thru their '09 cat. and it would appear that they have been discountinued. A call to Jardine would end the mystery. And maybe they would say what they originally sold for.

Hey guys I had a set...did like the 3inch mufflers cause they didn't scrape the drive when leaving....just didn't sound good...loud and a little cheap sounding...wish others made a 3inch muffler...mufflers looked sharp...Later Virg

1badbagger...thanks for the video clip link.
I saw these on ebay also and was giving them some serious consideration. The people selling them seam nice..even thought the ad said ship to 48 states only I emailed them and they agreed to ship to Hawaii for only $10 more. Searched everywhere and could not find any details on them but after looking at the video I decided they did not look that good on the Nomad, 3" pipe just looks to small and I did not like the sound. Just checked ebay and they are up to $130 anyway so whoever is bidding on them good luck and if you get them let us know what you think. |

I bought em. Needed some pipes since I had the TFI and 9" cleaner installed a few months ago. Gas mileage dropped from around 42 to low to mid 30's. Oldbikers told me I wouldn't get the most benefit out of the new mods without aftermarket pipes. Wasn't going to pay $450 to $500 for new ones. These list for over $400 and I paid $220.00 for 'em. And I'm the one that said last year when I got my Nomad that I would never get any mods for my bike...lol....These came off an '07 Nomad...So I'll get Oldbiker Jim to help me in a couple weeks to put them on and hopefully have them on for the Antlers trip in 4 weeks. Wish me luck. Jamie

The people I bought the pipes from seem like nice people, too. Said they would ship them out tomorrow and give me a ups tracking number. Gonna have them shipped to Oldbiker Jim's house in Sardis a couple hours away like I did my tire and tfi. Figured he could be checking it out and make sure all the parts are there, and I can just drive my bike up to his house without having to transport a box of pipes. I think Jim said they lived in Michigan somewhere. Jamie

Here's another tube vid about pipes.
I have V&H myself..and those pipes in the vid sound pretty much as mine. Though..I heard Cobras as well..think they have the hardest..ehh...balls! |
