Several riders have the reckless fairing and have put stereos in them .The fairing comes primed ready to paint and then put the stereo of your choosing in the fairing .I used the memphis shades fairing and have speakers mounted on my handlebars connected through an amp to an mp3 player.

Yes some of us do. I have a fairing from Reckless Motorcycles. He gives a discount to KawaNOW members, too.

Do you mind telling what amp you are using? Maybe a web link?

Greatly appreciated,

Pete

Radio caddy from the trike shop on mine.
Made to install on nomad, 1 piece. nicest and tighest fit around the headlight.
You put in your own stereo.

Cost me around 1000$ once painted and radio in.

Ringadingh, I have the exact same Sony stereo unit - when I turn off my ignition the clock resets to 1:00 and it goes to demo mode when I next turn it on. I bought the fairing and everything already assembled from a friend who traded off his Nomad. Should I rewire the stereo?

For the demo mode, there is a way to shut it off if you follow the instructions. It seems like your losing power when you shut the key off, there are two or three power wires, one has to be a constant power for the memory, the others can be switched. It sounds like that wire is connected to a switched source, Im sure if you move it the clock will keep its memory. My radio is a CDX GT640UI unit, it works pretty good. I just replaced the speakers on the weekend at the rally and they sound better than the old ones did.

I installed a Reckless Motorcycles fairing. Had a few issues but overall like it a lot. Windshield that came with was useless.
Kenwood marine radio. Poly Planer Platinum 5 inch speakers sound good at 75 great at 60. Pro clip Tom Tom holder.

There's also a sticky with more information in the "for sale/wanted" section.
