Riding for a fairing/ more photos

Well I left Langley BC, Wed. morning headed for Medicine Hat AB.
Where I was to meet Bro. member "strobe". Many of you will know that I bought his HD fairing that he had on his Nomad. I also recently decided to purchase his HD trunk that he wanted to sell as well.
Wed. took me as far as Golden BC. And from the time I left home it rained except where I came as close to riding in snow as I ever want to be, at the summit of the Coquihala Hwy.. Thurs. wasn't as bad but by the time I went through the Banff Nat. Park it was bloody cold again. Not raining too much but frick'in cold. I should have bought that elec. vest I was eye balling before I left. It rained steady till I reached Calgary around noon today.
Fri. was better and the skies started to clear for my ride to Med Hat. But just so I wasn't too relaxed about the weather, the skies clouded up en route to the Hat. It threatened to rain but other than a 5 min. sprinkling I stayed pretty dry.
Then this evening Cory and I started stripping down the Nomad for the install of the trunk and fairing. Got the trunk and the lights all done on it with the speaker wiring to be run tomorrow.
That, and finishing off the the fairing which is about half way there. We have some brackets to fab so my Cobra light bar will go on. Then when I get home they'll go in to be chromed. Those and I'll probably get the trunk rack chromed at the same time. That might have to wait till fall or winter when the bike is off the road again.
So there you have it for now. I'll be sure to post some photos when I get home.
Ride safe everyone

Its a nice ride through the rockies, last time I went through Golden a rock slide buried the highway just in front of us and we had to wait a couple hours while they cleared the road. Youll love the fairing and Tour pak when your done.

Well it's all done!! Cory took some pictures this afternoon, for me to post. I'm having trouble because I'm on a the Hotel's computer. But here's one of them.
I'll have to do them on seperate posts. I'll try it again.

So......I can't say enough about what a great guy Cory is. He's extremely knowledgeable about this and probably any project he tackles. He had this one complete in far less than 2 days and that included making brackets so my Cobra light bar would fit on the bike.
Him and his wife Shelly were tremendous hosts and treated me like family. Thanks Cory and Shelly you made this trip a memorable one. I won't forget it.

Thanks Scott !! I've only been out on the Hwy for a quick scoot but just that made me appreciate the difference. I Love the fairing and the trunk. Big difference there.
