I haven't tried the light changer, but if I remember correctly, it's pretty cheap. Can't hurt to try. We have lights here on two lane country roads that you could die while waiting on a bike. I've tried everything from putting the kickstand down on the trip wires to exposing my privates ,,, still stays red. I wish something would come along to help.

In NC...bikes can run reds after they have waited for ....eeehheeemmm.....3 minutes.....yeah....that thing doesn't change after a cycle , I'm going.

I used to really have a problem with those lights on a Honda 1100, but rarely do with the Nomad...Hell, its parked out in the garage next to my daughters 98 beetle and its probably got as much metal in it as her car!!!!

I don't ever recall a light not changing for me. Is that strange? (No comments on my ability to remember stuff, OK) I've seen the ads for the Light Changer and couldn't figure out what the deal was.

I have no experience with the light changer............but.............I have been on a couple of other motorcycle sites where people have tried them and discounted them as snake oil.

Theres a traffic light here that I usually get stuck at late at night, I wait for a minute, if it doesn't change I turn anyways.

At the MSF class they said kill the engine and restart usually works.

I have the light changer mounted to the bottom of my bike. It's actually just a strong magnet that creates a field to let the sensors recognize that there is a vehicle present.

It's great, have to admit. No sitting at a left turn forever when there are no cars behind me. It actually triggers the left turn signal. At night when the lights are set to react to only the sensor, I don't have to run red lights. It's one of those cool little extras for the bike.

And you don't have to turn off your bike or put the kickstand down either.

I have better luck if I stay near the edge of the detection cut-out area.

Yeah, like AT&T 's answer for fixing all cell phone problems is to reboot the phone.
