A Suggestion...Only a suggestion.

I'm not one to make things mandatory especially on the forum. I have always thought the less rules, the better. But lately, I have found myself asking who a particular person is and what year of Nomad do they ride.

After looking into it, I found that most of us don't have much information about us in the footer.

So, I'd like to make a suggestion and propose that all of us place some info about you in your footer. I would say that as a minimum, you might place your name, nickname, location and Nomad year in your footer.

Example:

Robert "Trip" Hilliard
Lindale, Texas
2005 Nomad "Ruby Earl"

Of course you can add any other info you like, but this could be the minimum. In the end, this might help most of us identify someone and make more riding friends.

How do I add this info... you ask? Just click on the word "Profile" located on the nav bar at the top of this page. On your profile, click on "Modify Profile". Find the Signature text entry area and add your info. Be sure to click on "modify profile" at the bottom of your page to save everything.

TIA,
Trip

Disclaimer: Making changes to the profile footer will not automatically make one eligible for ObamaCare nor will it make one experience magical powers beyond their control. Warning - a sense of achievement can lead to being more involved in KawaNOW and developing a "helpful" attitude toward your fellow man. It isn't if the member didn't populate the "Location" box.

Mandatory location would be nice.

I have another suggestion Trip. Make the 1-800 number shorter in your disclaimer. I got part way through dialing it and had to stop and take a nap.

This is NOT Top Secret $hit and I don't understand why so many people are secretive about who they are and where they are from. Heck I am proud of my name as my father and mother gave it to me. Also proud of my little home town.

It isn't like you are posting your social security number.

Heck, I sent a PM to Waterman and thought I saw where someone said he was Paul. I found out he isn't Paul at all, his name is Joel.

It would help some of old farts that are fairly new here and still trying to learn people's names.

Just my $.03 worth.
