130/90-16 front tire
I forgot to mention that this would be on a 1999 Nomad.

130/90-16 front tire
I have that size on my bike and I like it much better than the fatter 150. Much easier to turn I think, and the ride feels the same on the highway.

130/90-16 front tire
That's the standard size on the 2009/2010 Nomad.
Kawasaki went to that size to make the bike easier to turn and lighter to handle; it definately makes the bike feel lighter at the bars. My 2005 had the bigger tire and I like the feel of the 130/90-16 much better. Kawasaki list the Nomad's tires in their specs as radial but the Exedras that came on the bike are actually bias. The ride is excellent! :) |
