My Mishap

Hello my friends!
Please forgive this 'form letter' type email, but when I arrived home from the hospital this afternoon, I had 177 email messages. Far too many to answer individually.
For those of you who are aware of my mishap, I thank you most sincerely for your prayers and good wishes.
For those who have not yet heard, I had a mishap while pulling out of the driveway on the motorcycle Tuesday afternoon. The bike stalled and fell on my left foot and leg. The foot was rotated 180 degrees (THAT looked really strange) and my tibia and fibula were broken in two, the fibula was completely dislocated, a number of tendons were torn and some bones in the foot were crushed. Two hours of surgery later, I am the proud owner of various screws, pins, plates and wires. WHEEEE! It will be four months before I can ride again, but this could have been a LOT worse.
I thank each of you for all of the positive energy!! This too, shall pass!
God bless you!!!
Smokey

Hope you heal up fast, Smokey. Would it make you feel any better if we brought over some beer? Hang in there.
