Flapping in the wind

Does anyone know what and or where I can find to keep the bottom cuffs on my pant leg from creeping up. Its getting annoying. I know they have some kind of clips that go under the shoe and clips on both sides, but maybe y'all will have a better idea.

Looks like I'm a little late on this, but there is another type that just clips on the frt.of the pant, and your boot lace. Apparently they work well. I've always meant to buy a pair but just haven't got around to it.

You could always get your pants with a 2" longer inseam.

The clip on thingies do work, just make sure your pants are long enough when you sit down to use them, or you'll be riding down the road pulling at the knees of your pants trying to stretch them a little.

I do buy pants with a 2" longer inseam for riding because of this. But, I did get a pair of "stoney straps" this summer. They work very well, maybe even too well, as the clips dig into the pants hem really tight, almost cutting clear through. I tweaked with the tension a little bit so they quit doing that. I bought the ones with the pirate skull clips off ebay.

I wear Tony Lama cowboy boots and they seem to do it. The soles are un-stopable. I mean I work on trucks, cars, bikes, and industrial machins to rebuild them, do carpenter work and just stuff.

I bought these in Spring 06 in Pigon Forge Tn, because my carolina steel toe 16 inch engineer boots were showing my toes sunshine, and that didn't make for good riding boots any more.

Ive got real tall engineer boots steel toes and tuck the pants inside, no flapping at all. But ifyou put the pants outside they do flap, you will need those gay straps. LOL

I commute on my bike and the costume for work is nomex coveralls. The lightweight fabric rode up to my knees until my daughter fixed the problem by giving me a couple of her ponytail holders.

I had the same problem, even with longer inseam but than they drag on the ground. Last week I was at a Harley dealership looking for a durable, small packable rain suit (I love my frogg Toggs but the classic verison I bought at Academy is bulky when rolled up). They only had PVC, too hot. So I got a pair of rain gaters, these cover over the boots and up the leg to the top of the calf to keep my pant legs dry, oh wait what was this topic Oh ya

Strap ones, well at the Harley....., no wait, that isn't right, boot straps, ok at the Harley dealership I bought a set with the American flag on it for $12.00. I couldn't believe I found somthing so cheap at a Harley dealership so I had to just them clip thingy's, now I know what they can be used for I will have to try them out.
