reed valve removal

What is the purpose of removing the reed valves.
is it worth the removal.
And how hard is it.
What else needs to be removed when you do this.

This is not hard to do and it will remove
some unsightly hoses for the top of the engine.
But you will need some "coasters" which can be
purchased at many sites or I believe from "Chuckster" a member.

Cleans up ugly and reduces places for vac leaks to start..
