Lots of Compliments

I parked in front of the bank the other day with my black Nomad 1700 and a woman pulls in the spot beside me and strikes up a conversation about how much she likes the look of my bike. A couple of days later I come out of a store and find two men looking it over and then giving me lots of compliments. Same thing happened at another plaza. When it is polished (hard to do with so much rain) is just looks fantastic. Friends who I ride with say the pipes sound great and have a deep sound for stock pipes. All this and it is fun to ride too.

The Nomad IS a nice looking bike.

I get compliments, too.

The funniest one, tho, was when I came out of the grocery store and a guy was bent way over looking at the side of my bike.

Turned out he was having a heck of a time trying to figure out what the Stebel horn was.

:-)

Lots of Compliments

I seemed to get the most compliments from seniors.

Don't know why... but if I were to ever hear a compliment or casual comment it was typically from an ederly person.

Oh yeah... one reason YOU may be getting compliments is because your Nomad is Black!!!

It's rare to find a black Nomad actually stopped long enough to look at one. They usually go by so fast, people only think they saw something.

Lots of Compliments

When somebody makes positive comments on my bike, which is often, usually ends up asking; "what is it?"

I have an 06 green/silver. We usually ride with Harleys and you would not believe the number of times that my bike gets singled out in the crowd about how pretty and shinny it is. I LUV IT !!!

With all due respect for those who like basic black, I think the Green/Silver was a gorgeous bike.

The first Nomad I saw in person was an '06 Green/Silver.

I think I was in love from that point on.

Toyed with the idea of getting a used one, but wound up with a new Red/Black instead.

Best of both worlds. Eye-catching AND fast.

:-)
