Flip a switch cruise

I have a flip switch cruise on my bike and I had some people ask me where I got it and I cant remember where I bought it. I thought it was on gadgets website any help would be great. thanks

I have one. It is "flip a lever." I heard that the guy who makes them stopped doing so. I really like it for long rides. Use Google to find a couple places that discusses it.

I own one too and its flip-a-lever. You cant buy them anymore. great product.

yep, I wanted one for my Nomad but i heard that some dumbass sued the guy that made them and thats why he no longer makes them.

I have used the Vista Cruise for two years and love it. The price was right too. Something like $30.

Vista Cruise is the way to go. I have one on mine, the wife has one, best friend has one. Have had one since they first came out. Never slips unless you need it too.

I put what is called a throttlemate on mine. I think it is similar to the flip a switch. www.throttlemate.com. Works pretty well just needs adjusted on occasion. Very nice people running it. Just a little old couple. I picked mine up in person and they invited us in, guy showed me exactly how to install and use it, took me out into his shop where he had models set up. Just real nice people. At only $18 you just can't beat it.

I also HAD a "Throttle Mate". It almost killed me one time. The screw that sticks into the plastic grip liner to hold the throttle at your selected speed, stuck there after I flipped it "off". I had to crank hard on the throttle to get it to free up. In which time I almost collided with a car. I tried to reset the screw so it didn't embed into the plastic so much, but it never held consistently. I went to the vacuum/electronic cruise control. No comparison and well worth the effort to install.

I have the Brakeaway Throttle Lock. It releases with a thumb lever or with the front brake lever. Works really well and looks good too. Only downside is it is pricey at $180.
