Trunk Pt. 2

Finally got finished painting the trunk, (For Now) For the most part pretty good, but a few things I am not happy with,, 1: Should use a Darker Base Coat with DUPONT Chromium Paint then it wold have been Nuts On 100%...2: minor paint flaw, should get covered up wit Gold Pin Strip like the fenders. ALL in ALL Im 99% Happy.. BUT will be looking for a Newer Road Start trunk . I think I may want a larger trunk for traveling..
I will be getting a New back Rest for the Trunk,, I will get it made to look like the drivers Rest,, .Rich

That color looks spot on in the pic buddy. Nice work. What kind of paint did you use? Did you order the Colorrite?

Darker base would have been 100% nuts on,,,,,Got the paint at Cae Quest, He shot the paint with his Paint Meter.. 30$ 1/2Pint.. :) b its not color rite.. I forgot the brand,, But the Silver is off a Toyota.which I may add later.. I have the Code at the shop for the Blue... Color Rite

Those new Royal Star Venture trunks do look good, and I know about those "EXs" too.

Thanks, everyone.. Im pretty happy, Next will be a Yamaha 90s Roylal star trunk..BUT first I have to buy a house LOL.First time with the Chromium Paint.. If you use it think Candy Paint,,very translucent.. A light base gives a lighter finish, Daker base give a deeper darker color,,,
