If anyone ever finds any clear or dark tinted lenses for a Vaquero I'm also interested. Want to get rid of those orange lenses on an otherwise totally black bike.

Here is the new site for Clear Alternatives... it is now called Moto Lume

http://stores.motolume.com/StoreFront.bok

Doesn't look like they have lenses for the Vaquero, though.

Some have cut and glued/silicone to make that kind of lens change.

If you're looking to make a standard swap you'll need to find this entire piece

I'm all for it Robert, but I know lots of guys aren't quite as daring/creative. But we know that's what it takes to customize a Kawasaki, will and imagination.

In the end, you know it's truly custom

These are kinda pricey but they're the only one's I've found. I am trying to figure out how to replace mine with LEDs.

I removed the stock front signals to convert them to LED.

Gonzo, thanks for that link. I had not seen those yet. I'm going to see if my dealer has an outlet to get them, but I think I'll also keep looking for a way to remove the stock rears.

Here's how Robert converted his stock rear signals to Red lenses with LED.

Anybody tried these? According to the measurements, they will slip inside the oem housing. I'm thinking about trying it.

I've seen these before and wondered how well they would work. The sight says to use the same color bulb as the lense. I'm sure that is due to the output of the light, but I'm curious how well they work with clear lenses.

In my experiences, a colored lens appears brighter regardless of the quality of LED. My theory is that clear lenses allow too much ambient light in the fixture which mixes and dilutes the color in the reflector.

I've made my own LED boards, and made them super bright, but in the daylight they would seem weak. Ultimately, I put the colored lenses back on and felt much safer.
-I don't know how much applies to smoked lenses. According to my theory, they would be better than clear. But I haven't done any real testing.
