About minor cosmetic damage

Several years ago, I took a high side on a Vulcan Classic and, in addition to my shoulder and ribs, did some cosmetic damage to the bike.

Judging by this guy, I'm glad I didn't low side.

Whatcha think? 600-700 dollars (US) in repairs?

With the way that bike broke in half, got to wonder if there was something wrong with it.
Well, back to the drawing board.

At least he did most of his sliding on grass. Those grass stains will be hard to get out of those leathers! :-)
