Chaz Passed the Ride Like A Pro class!

Okay, I could have sworn I posted this already.....I have searched and searched though, and can't find a thread. Maybe I didn't....or maybe I did! I must be getting old!!!

Chaz took the "Ride Like A Pro" class a few weeks ago. I kept debating whether or not to take it with him, but the slow tight stuff in parking lots are my weakness!!! I felt I would hold the class up, so I passed. I even decided not to go and watch, so that I wouldn't distract Chaz. It was given at a discount price too....so I hope I don't regret my decision later down the road :(

Chaz said the class was rough! At least half the class dropped their bike more than once. In fact, Chaz said he dropped the Nomad 4 times!!!!! He said those crash guards in front of the hard bags saved the bike, and the leather chaps (which we need to replace now) saved the crash bars from any scratching.

The area he had problems and kept dropping the bike, was in the tight circle. When the instrcutor was in the center and Chaz had him to follow with his head, he did the circle great! He said he got as tight as 18 feet in the 24 foot circle! However, when nobody was in the circle to guide him, he started dropping the Nomad when he would try to get in tighter. He said he realized his biggest problem was turning his head.

In the end, though, he passed and completed the course!
I'm so proud of him...... *lowers head*

*hesitates for a minute debating* Chaz did take some videos and pictures at the class for me to put together in my slide show for him and his buddies in the class. I thought I would share it here too.
I PROMISE IT IS SHORT!!!!!! It's less than 50 frames and only 4 1/2 minutes!!!

Congrats to Chaz. Not just the head turning, he probably looked down, too. Look down, go down, was the mantra when I took the course. Don't look down. Now all he needs is practice and it will become instinctive to do it right.

I clicked on the link and it would never load for me. It would time out and I didn't get to see the slide show. Is it just my computer? Was anyone able to see it? I will let you know when I am able to view it.

Ah darn...I'm so sorry! The show is short, but I did add two small video clips within the slide show. Maybe your PC or internet connection didn't like that :'(

The video appears to be working okay. The parking lot we were in during my course was slanted.

Congrats to Chaz,, Your next,,I want to take that class when it comes up here,, BUT Ill cheat and use the 1100 Honda,its only 500 lbs :)
