Speaking of brakes...

I know we discussed this recently, but I couldn't find the thread. I am going to need new front pads soon, what kind have people had the best results with?

I personally like the EBC HH pads. Until they get "seated" (about 100-200 miles) you will hear an occasional squeak when you first start to apply pressure, but that goes away. The EBC part #s are FA231HH for the right front (these are also the ones for the rear), and FA229HH for the left front.

Those are organic pads, right? Where do you buy them?

They are sintered pads Scott, available at a lot of places for about $33.00 - $42.00 a set.

Scott, I get them from Dennis Kirk, they might not be the least expensive, but their service (and people) are great, and that's what keeps me coming back. Like Ringadingh said, they are sintered.

I just ordered EBC FA229HH and FA231HH for $28.75 per set from powersport superstore.com, plus $7.31 shipping.

I don't need them yet, I want to have them sitting on the shelf in my shop when I do need them.
