Conflicting info on 130 to 150 tire swap

Researching data on the 2006 1600 Classic rims 16x3.0 front as opposed to the Nomad which as far as I can find out are the same, does anybody know why Metzler recommends the 130 and not the 150 although they are the same rims for upgrade? The forks are Classic 41mm-Rake 32 degrees and trail 6.6inch The Nomad 43mm -Rake 32 degrees - trail 7.2 inches. Now are these minor differences a deal breaker for a 150 upgrade from the 130's? I have new Avon Cobras 180-150's that I'm ready to pull the trigger on and get them ordered but I'm getting so much conflicting information on the fronts that now I'm wondering if I should stay with the 130's although the 150's would look so much cooler for my mod. I need first hand experience to sway me for or against the 150's. PLease help. The 180 rear is not a problem according to Metzler charts.

Let's even get more goofy! The new Nomad's and Voyager's are running 130"s on the front. Ima thinkin that you would get a quicker feel with the 130? I remember that alot of the new syle Venture guys were changing out their front tires to smaller one's for that same reason. I don't have enough miles on my front tire so I can't throw it out yet -probably got a couple years on it yet so when it is done I'm going to try a 130!

The Classic (1600) has a 3" wide rim. The Nomads (1500 & 1600) have a 3 1/2" wide rim. The back rims on the 1600s (Classic & Nomad) have a 4 1/2" rim. The 1500 Nomads have a 3 1/2" rim. All of them are 16" diameter rims. That's why the 1500's front and rear tires (stock) are the same size. There are some that has put a 160 on the back of the 1500s, so A 150 on the front may be alright. The MT9016 for the HD Eltra glides is the same size as the 130 tire that runs on the Classic.
