Even people need to be tweaked at times. Look what wimmen try to do to us and they're more expensive than bikes. ???
Sounds like Beezer has been getting tweaked by his wife lately.

Congrats on the new scoot. I KNOW you'll enjoy it for a long time.

Hi Superduty,
Sorry your first experience with the Nomad was not pleasant. Mine was quite the opposite. The salesperson was knowledgeable enough, but I had done my homework before purchasing. The dealership cleaned the bike, filled the tank, and was even nice enough to switch the Battery-tender cables from my trade-in to the Nomad. Let's hope your remaining experiences are better.

It is a leftover 2007 model. Zero miles. In the paperwork I found they had taken delivery of it in November, 2006, so it was getting pretty dusty on the showroom floor. :)

I got it for 10,800, so I'm not complaining there. I like tinkering and adjusting things, so it wasn't that big of a deal I guess. I learned so much about my Suzuki, and I hope to do the same with the Nomad. I spent 5 hours today taking the C50 back to stock to sell it, and finance a seat and risers for the new bike. Man, those handlebars seem a long way out in front! I need gorilla arms to reach them. :)

The dealer techs had everything adjusted to my liking. They even had both shock rebounds adjusted to 2. Tank was full of 93 octane. The only thing they didn't do was clean their dirty hand and fingerprints off of the chrome, bags, and tank. That was easy enough to take care of myself. They also offered to deliver it home for me. Guess I looked a little nervous. Couldn't have slid a finishing nail up my rear! I know you'll enjoy the new bike. The first couple of nights I nearly pitched a sleeping bag next to it in the garage. Ride carefully.

I only bad experience I had was when the sales guy writing the deal told me that the extended 5 year warranty wasn't transferable so I should buy another 5 years. I bought a non kawa 5 year warranty for $600. 3 weeks later I got my Kawasaki extended warranty card good till 2011. Guy lied!
