Electronic cruise control became available on the 2009 models. For previous models we'll have to settle for throttle locks.

There was a previous thread for this subject. There is an electronic on made for the Nomad.
Cost is about $800.00. There are only three dealers in the US one is in Florida.

You can try this, but I hear that the price is pretty steep.
There is a member here that has it, but I can't remember who it was.

I believe unwind2 had one installed on her bike.
Just send her a PM and ask her about it or go here. This is the thread about it.

Its not an electronic cruise, but I have a Vista and it works pretty well. I have used it a number of times on freeway trips. Granted on hills I might have to adjust it a bit, but can't beat the value.

Audiovox makes a "universal" cruise control 2501076 that others have adapted and installed on the Nomad. I believe Gadget discusses this on his fixit page.

A true cruise control is one thing I would love to have, have been thinking seriously about that Audiovox one.

These Audivox cruise controls are only $100ish. I've seen them on ebay for $60. I think you would need to be pretty comfortable working on your bike to install one though.
