Bad Dealer

For those of you around the central MS area I would recommend you DO NOT use Got Gear Motorsports for any reason. I have been fighting them for 1 1/2 years to get a title for my wifes bike (bought it used of the showroom and paid cash for it). They had the paperwork all screwed up from day one. I finally had to get a laywer involved and filed a complaint with the tax commision to make them get us our title. They finally came through with it yesterday. (lawyer was filing the papers yesterday). They were supposed to be one of the biggest and best dealers in this area. I gave them the benefit of the doubt 4 times before I had to take action. No wonder I rely on the internet for parts with my bikes and do all my on work. Can't trust anybody anymore.

Glad to hear you finally got the title Bobby. I can't understand why it would take a dealer that long to get a title for you. They definitely dropped the ball and have now lost a customer.

After my trouble I heard from several others that they do bad buisiness. I always find this stuff out the hard way.

I've never stopped in there, Bobby. Thanks for the heads up! Road and Track in Brookhaven is much closer for me, anyhow. Didn't those folks buy out the inventory from North Jackson Honda couple years ago?

They do have a lot of nice bikes in there and they are huge, but I do all my business with Vicksburg Cycles...They carry Kawasakis and Suzukis

Many times over the years, I have bank financed cars, rv's ect. just because I feared the dealer might not treat the paper work right, if I paid cash. Whereas the dealers probably know the bank has lawyers and won't put up with title problems. After the title comes in , I pay off the loan. It is cheap insurance against crocked dealers in my opinion.

Glad you got it the paperwork right. It is ironic that you probably paid a document fee for them to do the title work.
