Congratulations on the impending arrival. Being a Daddy is the best job on the planet, bar none. Plenty of time between now and summer to design/build a mounting suystem to fit an infant carrier to the nomad.

How many miles...

Just turned 22000kms. (14000 miles). Not much but not bad for a total of 10 months of riding in two seasons. Yep, thats all we get up here in Northern Canada, about 5 months a yr.

I averaged about 7,000 a year in WA state - of course, out there, you have to ride in the rain. It's a given. Here in Tx. I'll ride year-round most likely.
If you would buy the fastest color (red/beige) you don't have to ride in the rain. We can dodge the rain drops!

How many miles...

Just bought my Nomad, but I was doing about 3000/yr on my Suzuki.

Hopefully more now since the nomad is more comfortable.

I'm putting about 42000 a year on mine. I've only had my Nomad sine March but my average weekly miles will come out to 42K.

Bought my '08 in July and just turned 3000 miles. Rainy season is upon us up here...so riding will be limited until spring.

Wow. some of you guys really get the miles on! I have 2100 for the year but I work most weekends at a second job in the fall so my riding season is short. Job helps to buy the toys though!

S'ok, dude. I don't think I put that many on mine either. Work and finishing up school are killing me on the free time meter. Some times, all I can do is walk around her in the garage, rub her with a cloth diaper, and blow kisses to her.
