What do you think?

If someone posted a picture of the bracket Im sure it would be simple to duplicate.

Uh oh. The membership pooleece are going to get you if you don't find a new ride ASAP. You are headed for "enthusiast" status.

How are you going to participate in your Chilly Willy ride or whatever it is without a bike?

Congrats on the sale and best of luck on your new purchase. You will love the new nomad with a fairing set up.

I just called him and he said all I would need is new bracket which they would sell for $85. Or, I'm sure I could make rather easily.

OR I could have you make me a set of new brackets?? :)
Jared,
I'm sure we can make that happen pretty easy.....

The one that CJ posted is only $6K without the seat and trunk or $7k with. I don't want the seat but may want the trunk. I may try to split the difference and see if he bites, but first I'm waiting for him to send me some more detailed pictures.

She is officially gone. :( I took that last ride this morning and than delivered her to her knew owner. The new owner never even took her for a test drive. Asked me to pull her into his garage and that was it.

Jared, glad it all worked out for you and you got such a good price for your ride. I know it's exciting to be looking for a NEW project bike, but also bitter sweat giving up something you modified to your own liking.

I'm sure you'll find another great deal out there and have it to your liking soon enough.
Good luck in the search.

Scott

congrats on the sale - it's a compliment to your fine workmanship (and painting) of the old ride.
New bike means you get to start all over again!
I'd say I was jealous, but then again I'm not finished on my current ride (though the extra cash you have in the pocket is always a good thing!)

Congrats, and perhaps an early welcome to the 'ultra-nomad' club?
