Yes. The original horn wiring wasn't designed to handle a ~20a load. You use the original horn wiring on the primary side of the relay, which will work fine. The Stebel horn is connected to the secondary side of the relay and is powered by the battery.

Stebel horn mounting

Thanks. The air filter housing is a Spectre 9" air cleaner. I bought it at Autozone for like $17. The filter element in the picture is the paper one that comes with it, at the time my K&N hadn't arrived yet. I do have a K&N element in it now. Details, such as part #'s, etc can be found on Gadget's page.

Stebel horn mounting

Think I will put a tether on mine when it gets mounted, the pic of Ells dropped horn looked so forlorn. Just have a strap on it tucked out of sight, just in case.
