Chuckster Risers cure buffeting?

I got my 3" Chuckster risers and mounted them today......wow what a difference. It is like a different bike. I am 6'2"-35" inseam and the 3" are perfect. One side benefit that I was not expecting is my high speed (60+) helmet buffeting is gone! My windshield is all the way up and the inner shield all the way down. The risers must have moved my head into the "bubble".
I rode all day....all my back strain was gone, it had improved significantly with the Grasshopper backrest but the risers put on the finishing touch. I had no sissues with cables and the install was simple (about 45 minutes once I found a 14mm deep socket). Now I only have 3 things left to do...get rid of the OEM tires, get a louder horn, and get an Airhawk seat pad.

Chuckster Risers cure buffeting?

Sounds like you found the answer. I have the 2 inch risers and cobra light bar, but I still have some buffeting around upper chest.

fyi, I like my stebel horn. I ran a hot wire and a ground wire under the tank, directly to the battery. I used a welding rod to snake the wires without removing the gas tank.

You can just run a hot and a ground to the battery and no relay or anything?

TC, the wires to the battery run on the secondary side of the relay. The Stebel horn pulls too many amps for the original switch without the relay. The relay came with the horn and I used it. I also put a fuse in line on the positive wire. I have also since spliced the hot wire for a 12v receptacle for my CB radio or cell phone charger.

PM Top Cat if you need pictures.
