The first pipe or stillson wrench was created by Daniel C. Stillson while working as a mechanic at the Walworth Company.

Daniel Stilson was from NH that's probably why mac knew that.

I bet he has the clutch binding on the oil pump gear.......

I agree.It is easy to fit the clutch basket, and not line the cog on the back, up with the one on the oil pump. If the nut is tightend like that, it will break the pump cog.
