Waving New Pipes, Fuel Processor, BAK...

Question for the group… I have a bone stock 2008 Nomad 1600 and its time to upgrade the exhaust/air/fuel system. I am planning on adding a set of Cobra True Duals. I know if I do that it is recommended to add a fuel processor, so my plan is to add the Dobeck EJK. I know if I do that it is recommended to add the Chucksters Big Air Kit as well.

So my question is other than a new HD exhaust gaskets (17048-98) am I missing anything to unleash/unrestricted my bike?

So your wanting to get the most outta your bike as you do the air, the exhaust, and a controller....
OK, here goes....
When you do your intake, your exhaust and your controller, there are several other things to help you.
Take off your reed valves and install coasters. While your at it, remove your air solenoids from your air cleaner. Trace back your air-vac. I trace them back all the way to the throttlebody, remove and plug all the lines period. Makes your engine area neater, air can circulate around also, which always helps.
Do away with the crossover tube that runs between the cylinders....
Next, install some iridium plugs, correctly gapped....
Last, but not least, after all this other stuff has been done, purchase yourself a set of hi-performance ignition coils....with all this, you will be amazed of how fast the engine starts when you press the start button. Some say it starts before you finish pressing the button....
