I don't think you were drunk, you would tell a funny story about your time in the service and there was a container of individually wrapped crackers on the table. It was late so they weren't serving food. When you were talking I would eat a cracker and when I was telling a story you would eat a cracker and put 2 in your jacket pocket. After a while I jokingly ask if you had a parrot in your room. You said you were leaving early in the morning and needed snacks for the trip. I'm pretty sure they were crackers, cant imagine what else they would leave out on the table
It was a fun night, one Iwill never forget
