Thanks
I want to say thanks for the help you all have been on this forum. I will be listing my 07 Nomad for sale shortly, as soon as I get it cleaned up and take some pics. It needs a new home, cause my garage is getting filled up and I am realistic enough to know that I won't be riding it nearly as much as I have in the past. Why not? Well, I pulled the trigger on another ride. Looked pretty hard at a Voyager, but ultimately decided on a Goldwing. Got what I feel is a pretty good deal on a 2012 with 11,000 miles. The cooler morning rides to work feel pretty good due to the heated seats, heated grips, and the toe warmers. And the thing handles great, lots of power and is so SMOOTH! (Can you tell I am still enjoying the new toy???) Anyway, I appreciate all the advice and support you all give on a regular basis, not just to me, but to folks who really just need a bit of guidance. I have laughed, rolled my eyes, and enjoyed the interaction.
The Nomad will be in the for sale section sometime, unless it sells before I get it on here. Keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down...

Congrats on the new to you ride.
You can still check in once in a while to see what is going on here. I sold my Nomad a couple years ago but still check in almost everyday.

Don't be a stranger. It's good to have familiar faces, makes it more like home.

I looked at several 2012 Goldwings here In Ontario over the last couple of months and finally settled on a 2009 Yamaha Tour Deluxe for half the price of the going rate of a 2012 Goldwing in this area which is around $14,000 to $16,000.

$10,500 US, which is about $13,600 CN I think. Not bad for a bike with 11,000 miles and in pretty good shape. Good luck with the Tour Deluxe. My brother in law is on his second one. He also has an older Shadow 1100 and an 18 Super Tenere.

The 2009 Tour Deluxe I bought has only 4,000 kms on it so it should last me a long time.
I average somewhere between 10,000 to 15,000 kms a season. |

I now have a Goldwing and am enjoying a different kind of ride. I still miss the Nomad for the character it had.
