I have a 2003 Nomad with 34,500 miles. Installed extenders at 29,000 and other than that it has only required routine maintenance. It has been garage kept and pampered and still looks new.

Thats what I love about the Nomads! Theres enough of them out there that the ones that really want the bikes can still pick em up with low miles (anything less than 60-70,000 miles on these bikes is low mileage if they were taken care of). And as far as looks, look more streamlined sitting still than the Street Glides....I have just a touch over 100k on mine, I'd trust her to take me to Brazil and back should I want....

2010 1700 Nomad bought new may 28th 2010. Just normal oil and oil filter and fluid changes and replace A Turn signal bulb two or there's times. At 90,000 miles had drive belt and pulleys changed. Now have 124,537 miles when I put bike away for winter in Oct of 2018. Only trouble I, have had is with the cruise control being stubborn not wanting to go on all the time. If Kaw still made the Nomad I would buy another one.

Still riding my 02 with a 2007 1600 motor. 150,000 miles. Still riding. Going to bike week next month in Daytona. It's never been on a trailer.

I still have my '08 Nomad with 108,000 KM on it. Last April, like schoeney, I went the Honda ST1300 route and really love the bike for long distance riding now that I am approaching retirement and plan to do a lot more touring. It's comfortable, fast and nimble and great fuel economy.

I put the Nomad up for sale last year but couldn't get any serious bites on it. I'll try again this Spring and if it goes that's great, but if not I've got no problem hanging on to it and having 2 bikes in the stable. It won't see as much use as before but it will still be fun for whenever I can get out on it.

Loved my 07 Nomad - would still be riding if it wasn't for the 18 yr old kid that pulled out in front of me last May - collision totaled the bike

Thoughts?
So far - have only seen Harley's & Honda's with the tilting motor works conversion
- Here's a photo of a Endeavor Reverse trike Nomad 1700 conversion.

Getting there, still having some issues with back & hip that are keeping me off the Goldwing for now - will likely end up converting it to a trike. See you later.

I have a 2005 nomad. Great bike with no issues. Bought it in 2012 in stock form with 7200 km on it. It now has 23,000 km on it and has some cosmetic upgrades. I've been trying to sell it but i guess my price was too high. I don't mind hanging onto it. Its fun to get out on it once in a while..as Canuckrider says, two in the stable is more than alright. It's just fine...haha.

Yes, I still ride my -99 Nomad. It has under 40k on it. And yes it still has the plastic oil pump gear. Been thinking of ordering Judges steel gear...

I bought a 2007 Nomad brand new in September of 2007. Put about 50,000 miles on it before an "unexpected dismount" sent her to an early grave in March 2011. I replaced the Nomad with a 2011 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Limited because I didn't like the changes to the line up Kawasaki made in 2009.

I had a 2007 with 20k miles that got wrecked.

Bought a 2006 in 2010 with 2500 miles. Now it has 24k miles. I am getting older and in poor health but wife and I enjoy riding to lunch on pretty days.

Had an 03 and sold it with 30k+ in divorce. Now I ride an 01 with 40k+ which is my baby. I also have an 09 with nearly 40k that I bought about a year ago. Still getting used to it. I am thinking of selling it for a Voyager. I can't imagine moving to anything else but maybe a GW trike when I get old and have a few marbles rolling around upstairs.
