LED headlight option

Hey all! I do not know if anyone else had tried these, but it is a much cheaper and easier install option to the DayMaker replacement. Also, appears to be much brighter than the HD headlights in comparison. The product name is Cougar Motor LED Headlight Bulb all-in-one conversion kit model/style number H4(9003 hi/low). Cost is $50 from Amazon for a pair. Actually discovered them when looking for replacements for my truck. They are a direct replacement, only change was to flip the rubber gasket seal once bulb is installed. I will post some before/after pics. If this idea has already been posted, my apologies for repeating.IMG_6200.jpg

I just looked at them, Looks Like they sell in a Pair? Want to sell your extra. Seems your just down the road apiece from Minneapolis? Cheaper than my PIAA. Let me know how you like it. I get scared with the plastic lenses we have.

I haven't had any night road time with them based on our street and road conditions (i.e. An inch of salt and sand everywhere). I would be happy to help you with that. Send me a PM and we could figure out details. Thanks!

Just an update on the LED replacement- finally got an evening ride in. Best $50 I could have spent. The width and clarity are incredible. Very pleased.

I was looking for one for my and saw the set for a car so I got them instead that way I could put one on each bike. Did this last year around this time and yes about the best thing I have done to the bikes...
Super bright lights!

I looked into it and saw several with almost exact description.
Slightly different size.
Do you remember the exact part number?
THANKS

PhDr I can not speak for The cougar LEDs. I have purchased these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They are 3 sided Not 2, As I have heard they (3 is better than 2) reflect the light better. I was very disappointed in the High/ Low function. When Adjusted correctly on the low beam , as not to blind other drivers I found that the high beam was worthless to my vision on high beam, since it shot to high. and to drop the low beam down to make the high beam good= well I lost any city street vision like no head light at all. Nice bright light though. I am thinking Daymakers are a better way to go, even with the extra work and mods involved. Yet I am reluctant, because of the mod is a 65.00 error to fix if I do not like it since I would need to re-purchase a stock head light bracket( because you need to cut it to make a daymaker fit) if I do not like it.
Just some of my thoughts. I may try a different brand and use the 2 I have now in in truck since they will need new bulbs soon? 1992 truck? maybe time to replace?
