Passenger hiway pegs

I know Marvella's makes some passenger adjustable hiway pegs, but does anyone know of any other brands available for the Voyager 1700?
Mike

Mike
I think Mike's looking for passenger highway pegs, rather than driver's?

I've never heard of any except Marvella's, and have a set of those on my Voyager. My passenger appreciates having choice for foot placement, just as I do. They do get a little in the way of the rider occasionally, but I've gotten used to them there.

I used to have the Longhorns up front for me, but replaced them with Tour Tech's recently. The Tour Tech's have a slightly longer reach, which suited me better, since I like to have three positions available - entirely on the boards / heel toe both (my usual riding position) / & entirely on the highway pegs.

Yes, I am looking for the PASSENGER pegs. Thought there might be something out there I had not seen, but looks like Marvellas is the only choice.
thanks, Mike

Peg if it is possible could you post a picture of the long arm pegs in relation to the break pedal similar to the picture in this post. That will go a long ways in helping me and others trying to figure if i can really reach the pegs comfortably. Sorry about the size of the picture i don't know how to change it.

If it helps Mike... I cut my brake pedal in half. I'll get a photo for you later in the day when I have more time. It's 6am here (Saturday) and I'm off to work shortly.

Edit: Do this to your brake pedal, and there's plenty of room to reach your highway pegs and keep a heel on the boards.

Love it, on my Nomad I cut my brake pedal at an angle so I could heel/toe on the boards/pegs.

Thank you Peg that's exactly what i was looking for and I'm glad you provided the pics because i really don't think it will work for me. The foot rests are a lot further forward than i was hoping for maybe in the future something will come available. Maybe chuckster will produce some footrests that will attach to the longhorns and bring it back even further. Hint, hint.

I went with the floorboard-mounted Kurayakyn pegs and then switched the 2" extensions for 4" extensions. I love the setup! Once I get back to the RV I can get a picture if you wish.

Yes a picture will be nice. I read the instructions and it has the left floorboard mounted on the right side and the right on the left side. They must be symmetrical to be able to do this so did you see why this is necessary? They say to drill holes in existing spots for the wear bars and installing the new hardware in the old wear bar holes. Why can't you just drill the holes for the new hardware?

Floorboard are symmetrical however they don't have all holes threaded for wear bar when switching floorboards. You must flip floorboards, drill a hole that is not used or threaded and put the screw provided to attach wear bar. The wear bars aren't centered on floor board so when you flip they are in wrong position. Look at them from underneath. Note, I opted to tap a proper thread which was fairly easy since it's aluminum and liked that instead of using screw which was like a lag bolt with aggressive thread pitch to bit into aluminum.

I only test fit my set on as I didn't like that the floorboards flexed quite a bit due to leverage.

Does this help any? These have the long extensions. I can tell you that with the short extensions and the long flame footrests, the ball on the tip of the footrest would drag before the floorboard dragtabs would. That wouldn't be an issue with shorter footrests though.
